Rerooted & Co. is your one-stop shop for houseplants this holiday season at our 5th Annual Ag & Artisan Holiday Faire! These adorable plants come in all shapes and sizes. Whether you’re looking for cactuses in a handmade ceramic pot, a dainty little plant in a teacup, or a unique ceramic piece that generally would not house a plant, Debra has it all.

Rerooted and Co. was founded by Debra, who moved to Gardnerville two years ago to be with her daughter and enjoy everything small-town life has to offer. She always believed she had a black thumb, until a few years ago when she felt drawn to a plant at her local Lowe’s. After successfully keeping her first plant alive, she felt as though she had found her new calling and leapt to acquire more plants.
Debra has also always loved thrifting, as she likes to save beautiful pieces from ending up in a landfill and repurpose them into something new. She especially loves handmade ceramic finds because someone took the time to create them. Her new passion and her old passion seamlessly combined- she had all the plants she could need and unique vessels for them to live in. Thus, Rerooted and Co. came to be.
At Rerooted & Co., Debra thrifts and collects her “pots”, then waits for the perfect plant to pair it with for all her pieces. She thrifted a handmade ceramic pot a few years ago and just recently acquired a set of cactuses; she immediately knew the pot she had been saving would be the best home for them. Each piece is truly carefully thought out and curated.

Debra has joyfully leapt into her new endeavor after raising 6 kids, finding a passion of her own after everyone left the nest. Her kids are fully supportive of her business and come to help her out at craft fairs and other events when she needs it, and one of her sons is helping her build a website. Along with craft fairs and other events to sell her wonderful plants, Debra is also developing potting classes for groups of homeschooled kids, since she homeschooled her own kids. She wants to share her knowledge and help others learn about plants, how to pot them, and how to care for them.
Debra shares that the best part of her new business is the community she has found with it. She moved to Gardnerville because she had a longing for a small town community like the one she grew up in. Her company has allowed her to find her place in her new town, and she is very grateful for it.
Debra’s unique pieces won’t be found anywhere else, which is why we are so excited to have her at our 5th Annual Ag & Artisan Holiday Faire! If you are a plant lover or know one, this is a wonderful opportunity to find a one-of-a-kind gift. Debra believes anyone can have a green thumb, so come on down and say hello on Saturday, December 6!
