Our ewes are giving birth just in time for the new year! We’re expecting almost 40 lambs and they’re coming in healthy. Soon the heifers will birth their calves, the chickens will keep laying, and we’re hoping for piglets too. We don’t send our animals off to a feedlot to fatten them up. They forage on the pastures here and we supplement with hay cut from our own fields. This results in more lean, healthier meat.
